Volleyball Milestones after Weekend One

Senior setter Shanelle Martinez tallied her seven-hundredth career assist against Furman (August 30). She has 709 entering the second weekend. Junior Akira Burt is ten away from 200 sets played- she's at 190 after the Furman game, which was the fifty-fifth of her Panther career. Senior Courtney Smith is now at 42 total appearances- two of the three games this weekend plus forty appearances for the Sandy Panthers.  Grad student Myllena Torquetti is now at 34 total appearances- 33 in court volleyball and one in beach volleyball. In terms of total points, Burt has 471.5 while senior Alessia Cappai has 347.5 and then Torquetti has 243.5. 

Women's Soccer Milestones- Thursday, August 28 v. Kennesaw State

Junior Therese Brink , after logging thirty-one minutes off the bench, now has forty appearances for Panther soccer.  Junior Aaliyah Faddoul has surpassed 3100 minutes for her career- entering Sunday, she has 3,185. Senior Emily Glenn has surpassed 1900 minutes for her career- entering Sunday, she has 1,903. Sophomore Abby Kilman and senior Reese Gordon both surpassed 1400 minutes- entering Sunday, Kilman has 1,418 and Gordon has 1,401 (Gordon also tallied the first assist of her career against KSU). Redshirt sophomore goalie Ariana Anderson has surpassed 800 minutes for her career- she's at 884 entering Sunday. Sophomore Briana Hill surpassed 700 minutes for her career- entering Sunday, she's at 723. With 19 minutes off the bench, freshman Elana Lizzaralde Arano made her Panther debut against KSU. 

Women's Soccer Milestones- August 17 v. Furman

Panther Debut: Junior Himari Sato tallied fifteen minutes off the bench. Scoring Milestone: Sophomore Sunniyah Tucker tallied her second goal in two games to start the season after scoring twice across nineteen games in 2024.  Minutes: Junior Aaliyah Faddoul surpassed three thousand minutes at Furman on Sunday in what was also her fortieth game for Panther soccer. Heading into the West Georgia game she has 3,014 minutes, or a little over fifty hours on the field. Senior Brook Nelson is just sixty-six minutes away from reaching three thousand minutes herself.  

Women's Soccer Milestones

Senior Emily Glenn has now appeared forty times. Sophomore Sunniyah Tucker has now appeared in twenty games.  Redshirt sophomore Ariana Anderson , after missing the entirety of last year, has passed the six-hundred minutes barrier- she now has picked up 614.  Junior Aaliyah Faddoul now has twelve career assists- one back of a six-way tie for eighth and five back of tying for seventh. 

First Career Goals!- Women's Soccer v. Truett-McConnell, August 14th

Junior Therese Brink , thirty-eight games and thirty-one-hundred minutes into her Panther career, tallied the first goal of her career in just the third minute. Redshirt freshman Elise Nystrom , after not playing in the entirety of last year, scored in her Panther debut in the seventy-second minute.  And junior Hina Suzuki netted the first three goals of her Panther career, coming on three shots on frame. 

Women's Panther Soccer 2025: Forwards

The forward squad is a seven-strong field and has just three newcomers.  Junior Aaliyah Faddoul is the most experienced minutes-wise with 2,866 across thirty-eight games, and she has twenty-five goal contributions with sixteen scored and another nine assisted. Senior Emily Glenn has compiled 1,613 minutes in 39 games and has tallied three goals and five assists in her career- she's coming off a nine-point junior season with two goals and five assists. Glenn's classmate Reese Gordon has 1,193 minutes and has two goals in 33 games.  Junior Gabriela Gonzalez has appeared in 54 minutes across two games. Junior Hina Suzuki and freshmen Elena Lizarralde Arano and Cadence Setzer are the newcomers.
