Volleyball Milestones after last weekend

Junior Akira Burt is 48 points away from 600 for her career. 

Senior Alessia Cappai is two appearances away from 40 and 11.5 points away from 400. 

Senior Courtney Smith now has 48 appearances between beach and court volleyball and is two away from becoming, I believe, the first beach volleyballer in Georgia State history to tally ten appearances in court volleyball. 

Grad student Myllena Torquetti now has 38 appearances- 37 in court volleyball and one in beach volleyball. She is also nine points away from 300. 

Senior Shanelle Martinez has contributed to 938 points in her 41-game career- 857 assists and 81 points.

Position-by-Position Look-Ahead: 2025 Volleyball

*Note: This is assuming that anyone who was a senior or grad student in the 2024 season won't return. Middle Blocker Myllena Torquetti and Kayla Broom are both seniors, but current sophomore Akira Burt and current freshman Kamryn Itzen are both returners at the moment.
