Beyond the Box Score- Volleyball v. Old Dominion (Friday, October 17, 2025)

Junior Akira Burt is now 14.5 points away from 600 for her career- she's posted 585.5 points in 67 games. 

Senior Courtney Smith, in addition to her extending her mark for court volleyball games by a beach volleyballer to 16 (56 across the two sports), is two shy from reaching the century mark for total points- she's contributed 86 points in court volleyball and has helped add another 12 points from beach volleyball wins for 98 points. 

Freshman Manuela Altieri Liev, after tallying 2.5 points across her first four appearances, added three points in Friday's game. 

Senior Shanelle Martinez tallied her 1,000th career assist- she's now at 1,018. She's now either directly or indirectly contributed to 1,109 points in her 49-game career: 1,018 assists and an additional 91 points.

Middle Blocker Myllena Torquetti and Kayla Broom are both seniors, but current sophomore Akira Burt and current freshman Kamryn Itzen are both returners at the moment.
